All social security pension beneficiaries whose pensions were sanctioned by Velloor Grama Panchayat on or before December 31, 2025, must complete the mandatory e-mustering through Akshaya Centres by September 30, 2026.

In 2021–22, it earned Block-level recognition for the outstanding implementation of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS).

In 2024, Velloor Grama Panchayat won the Block-level Overall Championship in Kerala Utsavam, showcasing excellence in arts and sports.

In 2025, Thattaveli, located in Velloor Grama Panchayat, received the Block-level Award for the Best Public Space, highlighting the Panchayat’s commitment to the protection and beautification of public spaces.
