All social security pension beneficiaries whose pensions were sanctioned by Velloor Grama Panchayat on or before December 31, 2025, must complete the mandatory e-mustering through Akshaya Centres by September 30, 2026.

Velloor Grama Panchayat is one of the prominent Grama Panchayats situated in Vaikom Taluk of Kottayam District, Kerala. The Panchayat is bounded by Ernakulam District to the north, Mulakulam Grama Panchayat to the east, Thalayolaparambu Grama Panchayat to the south, and Vaikom Block Panchayat to the west. It consists of 16 administrative wards.

The Panchayat is steadily progressing on the path of development through the harmonious integration of agriculture, industry, education, and its rich cultural heritage. Its well-defined geographical layout and ward-based administrative system provide a strong foundation for participatory governance and the effective implementation of people-centric development programmes.

Ward Distribution

Ward No. 5 (Velloor) is located at the central part of the Panchayat. Surrounding the central ward are Mevelloor (Ward 2), Vaippelppady (Ward 3), Chandramala (Ward 4), Irumbayam (Ward 7), Perunthattu (Ward 8), Puthenchantha (Ward 10), and Varikkamkunnu (Ward 16).

The northern region of the Panchayat comprises Thonnalloor (Ward 1), Mevelloor (Ward 2), and Vaippelppady (Ward 3). The eastern region includes Newsprint Nagar (Ward 6), Irumbayam (Ward 7), Perunthattu (Ward 8), and Thannippally (Ward 9).

The southern region consists of Vettikkattumukku (Ward 11), Paraykkal (Ward 12), and Thattaveli (Ward 13). The western region includes Karippally (Ward 14), Neerppara (Ward 15), and Varikkamkunnu (Ward 16).

The spatial distribution of these sixteen wards ensures balanced local administration and facilitates the effective planning and implementation of development programmes across the Panchayat.
